Bright red, yellow and green spear-shapped or lobed leaves create a stricking plant for any collection. With potential to grow into a fairly large shub. Can be finicky however worth the effort.
Keep soil evenly moist through summer months allowing for top to dry out in winter. Avoid using cold tap water as this plant is sensitive to cold temperatures. Water with lukewarm water. High humidity is also crucial for this plant. Misting, pebble trays or a humidifier are good ideas for helping maintain the ideal humidity.
Note: This plant is toxic to pets and people if ingested. Wear gloves when pruning as sap can cause skin irritation.
