Great tomato to use for sauce! The long, blocky fruits (3-4" long) mature with a small, discreet seed cavity that can be scooped out, leaving all meat. This means much less boiling to get a first class paste. The shape is also good for canning, and excellent for drying. The skin is easy to remove.
How To Grow
Fruiting plants need lots of sunlight, plant in well drained soil with lots of organic matter. These plants are indeterminate, will need staking.
When To Harvest
Harvest when the tomatoes turn red, for best flavor let them ripen on the vine for as long as possible.
