A unique herb valued for its strong flavour and smell. Often used in meat dishes, or its oils are extracted for perfumes or medicines. The leaves can be used fresh or dried. It can be used as an ornamental evergreen in the landscape, but will not over winter in places where the temperature gets below -15 degrees Celsius. However it can easily be grown in a pot and brought indoors for the winter months.
How To Grow
Rosemary prefers a well-drained soil, and can be prone to over watering and root rot. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Enjoys full sun.
