Produce resemblse tiny cabbages, and they make an excellent addition to any cooked vegetable dish. Growth rate is slow, but a bountiful fall harvest makes it worth the wait.
How To Grow
Best to plant in early summer, and fertilize regularly throughout the summer for large amounts of produce. Preforms best if roots are protected with mulch; it keeps the soil moist in the heat of summer and prevents weeds, as well as protects them from the cool temperatures in the fall before harvest.
When To Harvest
Harvest in the fall. For best flavour, wait to pick until after the first frost.
