Gasteria 'Little Warty'
Note: Cross between Gasteria batesiana and Gasteria 'Old Man Silver'.
A small, fleshy succulent with speckled tongue-like leaves. Unique tubular flowers can form in the spring and winter. Unlike most succulents, they prefer shade from the intense afternoon sun in the heat of summer, and makes for an ideal house plant.
How To Care For
Requires a few hours of direct morning sunlight, but prefers to be shaded from the intense heat of the afternoon sun. Will do well in a west or east facing window. Plant in a well draining soil medium. Water evenly, and wait for the soil to dry out between waterings.
