Swiss Cheese Plant Vine
Monstera adansonii
Description
These plants have striking, perforated deeply green leaves, the leaves develop holes (called fenestration) that makes the leaves resemble Swiss cheese.
The Swiss cheese plant vine is very easy to grow. It loves to climb, so provide a stake with moss or trellis that it can grow up or allow it to trail in a hanging basket or onto of a shelf.
Care Overview
Bright indirect light, without adequate light, the new leaves will not have as many holes. These plants do not like to be dry, do not allow to dry out fully, water thoroughly when the top of the soil dries out. Plants benefit from high humidity, mist with water between watering.
Note: The plant can be kept bushy and compact in appearance with regular maintenance. Prune out long stems as needed.
