Spider Plant
Chlorophytum comosum
Description
This fast-growing house plant is known for its ability to produce decorative offshoots, that can then be grown as a new plant, or be left hanging to resemble "spiders" dangling from the mother plant. Ideal for hanging baskets or high shelves. Can tolerate dry soil conditions.
Care Overview
Spider plants enjoy indirect light and will grow best in windows that receive light in the early morning but are shaded in the afternoon. Require a well-draining soil, water evenly, and allow the soil to dry out between watering.
Note: These plants have been tested and said to reduce air pollution significantly.
