1 gal Hostas - Assorted Varieties, Small
This plant is reliably hardy in cold hardy, and has few pests. Hostas have shapely, attractive leaves and delicate, tubular-shaped flowers. Best planted in spring, to give the plant time to establish roots before winter, and also to avoid planting in extreme summer heat when it will need to be watered regularity. Mulching around the roots is a great way to help keep moisture in the soil, and it also helps prevent weeds.
Partial shade to full shade. Avoid planting under trees with extensive, shallow roots that will interfere with the hosta roots.
Dependent on variety; most flower in late spring or summer.
